I live in the same neighborhood with my workmates and share the same living and working conditions with them. We have been facing a lot of problems and we think that you are the right person we should approach for help. We work for long hours without breaks in between; this is despite the fact that we are paid peanuts. The money we get is barely enough to feed our families and cater for all our needs. At the factories, our safety is not guaranteed as our employers do not provide the necessary equipment that protect us in case of nay accidents. This has resulted in the death of many people and some have become physically impaired and cannot be able to fend for their families. Minors are also employed under these severe working conditions (Mokyr 101). We would like the government to pass laws that will set the minimum wage and minimum working hours to prevent employers from exploiting us. We would also like the government to put in place laws that will ensure our safety is guaranteed while working. For example: factory owners should be required to purchase protective gear for their employees and compensate those who lose their lives or become physically impaired in the line of duty. Finally...
